Palindrome

Delete your account

You can delete your Palindrome account and all your entries at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, so if you want to keep your history, download your data first.

Delete your account in the app

  • Sign in to the app or at palindrome.life.
  • Open Profile.
  • If you want to keep your history, choose "Download my data". You get a file with your account data and all your entries.
  • In the "Delete account" section, confirm it is you: enter your current password or, if you sign in with Google, choose "Confirm with Google".
  • Type DELETE and choose "Permanently delete account". We delete the account and entries right away, and end the session on that device.

Without access to the app

If you cannot sign in, or deletion in Profile does not work, write to office@palindrome.life from the email address linked to the account, with the subject "Delete account". Do not include your password.

We check that the message comes from the account owner, delete the account and entries, and reply when it is done. It takes us no more than 30 days.

What we delete

  • Account data: email address, sign-in method, and profile settings.
  • All entries: check-in, caffeine, nutrition, peptides, supplements, body measurements, goals, and notes, including entries marked as deleted earlier.
  • Saved consents and settings, including notification settings.

What stays, without a link to you

  • Payment history and confirmed purchase identifiers, if there was a purchase. They stay without a link to the account, because they may be needed for accounting.
  • A paid subscription does not end by itself. Cancel it with the provider you bought it from.
  • Values remembered in your browser, for example the last numbers in the calculator. You can remove them by clearing site data in your browser.
  • Data sent earlier to the AI provider, if the AI description or label scan was used. The provider deletes it itself within 30 days of receiving it, unless a request broke its usage policy (then up to 2 years) or the law requires longer.
